ORAL ARGUMENTS

Belcher Center doors open for oral arguments.
NOTE:  Attendees should expect security screening and backpacks and bags are discouraged.  Cell phones should be turned off and no flash photography permitted.
Event is open to the public and there is no charge.
 
9:00 AM- 10:45 AM
 Oral Arguments in two cases- Belcher Center Concert Hall (with a 10 minute break between the cases).  Session will be live webcast by the State Bar of Texas.  Attorneys attending arguments and Q&A eligible for 2.5 hours CLE.

10:55 AM-11:25 AM
Q&A Session.  Court returns to the bench and members
of the audience will be able to ask the Court questions.
 
SUPREME COURT LUNCHEON
ALLEN FAMILY STUDENT CENTER, LeTOURNEAU UNIVERSITY
 
 11:45 AM-1:00 PM
 Luncheon for the Supreme Court in the Anna Lee and Sidney Allen Family Student Center.  Luncheon tickets required and none will be on sale that day.  Chief Justice Hecht will speak on the topic "The Texas Supreme Court- Past and Present".  Attorneys attending the luncheon are eligible for 0.5 hour of CLE. 

BREAKOUT SESSIONS
  
1:30 PM -3:00 PM
Attorneys attending a breakout session marked * are eligible for 1.5 hours CLE.  Sessions 1-7 will be held in the Gregg  County Courthouse and sessions 8-10 will be held at LeTourneau University.  All sessions are free of charge.
